Nestled in one of Italy’s most picturesque settings, we welcome you in Santlhof, an original South Tyrolean farm!
From this privileged position on the slope above Cortaccia, well known for its wines, you can enjoy the view above the entire valley. You can also take place around a massive table in the wine cellars, which are dating back to the fifth century, and where you will see many old objects and tools used in the past by farmers and craftsmen.
Inside or outside, we serve Tyrolean dishes, including Speck, Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta), cheese dumplings, dumplings …. and vegetables from our garden. As a grand finale you can taste the typical strudel or Kaiserschmarrn (scrambled pancake with jam).
Of course, you willl have the possibility to taste our home-produced wines. In autumn instead, you are invited to the typical “Törggelen” with roasted chestnuts and new wine.

Beautifully located, Santlhof has over 3.3 hectares of forest area in addition to 1.5 hectares of vineyards. From our vineyards (Chardonnay, Sauvignon) and from the vineyards near Cortaccia (Cabernet, Vernatsch) and Caldaro (Cabernet) we produce the finest wines… those which you afterwards enjoy in our rustical cellar.
